We were invited to help develop a new Technical Information Report (TIR) for the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), a standards organization. This report, TIR 32:2004, discussed Medical Device Software Risk Management.

We provided the detailed information and insight on Real-time Embedded Systems concepts and their associated hazards.

Our contributions provided the main content to the Engineering Analysis and the Indirect Cause/Risk Control Measure sections – both very practical additions!
